The value for money at this lodge was really good, with a comfortable and well-equipped room overlooking the picturesque golf course.
The breakfast experience could be improved with the addition of a wider selection of small saucepans and a non-slip mat for the shower. It would also be convenient to have an on-site shop for self-catering guests, as we had to travel a bit to get a morning paper each day.

I gotta say, Valley View Villa was really nice! The lodge was pure luxury and had every gadget you could imagine. The owners, Wendy and Andrew, were super friendly and really made us feel at home. They even left us a bottle of prosecco, chocolates, and tarts - so thoughtful! The view from our room overlooking the golf course was fine, and the location was perfect for exploring Northumberland. Can't recommend this place enough, I'll definitely be back! Huge thanks to Wendy and Andrew!
The only tiny thing I could think of to make breakfast even better would be to have a teapot. It wasn't a big deal, but it would've been nice to have one instead of using a cup to pour the hot water.

My recent stay at Valley View in Swarland was absolutely wonderful. The lodge was beautifully maintained and offered a peaceful ambiance overlooking the golf course. Sitting on the verandah with a glass of wine and the chocolates left by the thoughtful owners was pure bliss. We were even lucky enough to spot deer on two mornings, which added to the charm of the location. The lodge's strategic positioning allowed us to easily explore both the stunning coast and countryside. I am already looking forward to returning here in the future.
